My Blog got a permanent home

Finally I was able to relocate my blog from rented premises to a permanent one. From now on I will be blogging at http://blog.techrepository.in and all my previous post will also be available there.

Also along with that I have hosted a new site www.techrepository.in, which I will use to post latest happenings in the technical world, tips and tricks, tutorials, faq, online quizzes etc etc.

I has been very fortunate with the visitors my site till now and expects support for this initiative. After all what I am now is all because of all you you out there.

My Session at Trivandrum Windows Azure Camp – Preview

I will be speaking on Cloud computing and Windows Azure at the Windows Azure camp conducted by Microsoft in Trivandrum on 30th of April. For more details, please visit the K-MUG site. I am hoping to kick off the session by giving an introduction to cloud computing and then will explain the current scenarios for deploying the appliciations.

After that I will be spending the next half hour explaining the Azure architecture, its various components and its working. I am also hoping to show some demos also along with this. I will round up my talk with an indepth coverage of the management portal and the developer experience.

Internet Explorer 9 Released


Microsoft today released its latest version of their browser, Internet Explorer 9 to the world wide audience at the SXSW event. Its been already the most downloaded beta version of any software product released by Microsoft and already been downloaded 40 million time.The beta version and platform preview versions of it were available for the last year or so and final release doesn't have significant changes when compared the RC version

IE 9 can be downloaded from the official IE 9 site www.beautyoftheweb.com and is compatible only for Windows Vista/7 . The main features include HTML 5 compliance, fast, standards compliant, trustworthy and puts more focus on the website rather than the web browser, which helps for a better browsing experience.
