 Student Chapter of K-MUG is conducting Dreamspark Yatra at Kochi in association with Microsoft. The focus of the event is to help students to know more about the latest technologies and which in turn helps in kick start their careers.K-MUG students chapter is lead by the Microsoft Student Partners – the student volunteers who are specially selected by Microsoft on an annual basis.

Internet Explorer 9 Released

Microsoft today released its latest version of their browser, Internet Explorer 9 to the world wide audience at the SXSW event. Its been already the most downloaded beta version of any software product released by Microsoft and already been downloaded 40 million time.The beta version and platform preview versions of it were available for the last year or so and final release doesn't have significant changes when compared the RC version

IE 9 can be downloaded from the official IE 9 site www.beautyoftheweb.com and is compatible only for Windows Vista/7 . The main features include HTML 5 compliance, fast, standards compliant, trustworthy and puts more focus on the website rather than the web browser, which helps for a better browsing experience.

	Praseed Pai is a well known software architect from Kochi,Kerala. His areas of interest include Enterprise software development (using C#/.net) ,Engineering Software development(CAD/CAM/C++),Cross Platform C++ development (Windows/Linux/Mac), Computer Graphics, Computational Finance and Domain specific programming languages.
